1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PolyFriends ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

PolyFriends is a social entertainment platform that allows friends to create private prediction markets using virtual tokens. Users can create rooms, invite friends, pose questions, and place bets using in-app tokens.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use PolyFriends.
• If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

4. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (password or guest recovery code).
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. User Conduct & Zero Tolerance Policy

You agree not to:

• Post, share, or create objectionable, offensive, hateful, discriminatory, or sexually explicit content
• Harass, bully, threaten, or abuse other users in any way
• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose or to facilitate real-money gambling
• Create questions that promote hate speech, violence, harassment, or illegal activity
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Attempt to manipulate or exploit the betting system through automated means
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or private data
• Use the Platform to collect personal information about other users without consent

Users can report objectionable content or abusive behavior using the in-app report feature. All reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Content found to violate these terms will be removed immediately, and the offending user's account will be terminated. Users may also block other users to prevent further interaction.

6. Prediction Markets & Betting Rules

• All bets are placed using virtual tokens with no real-world monetary value.
• Room hosts have full authority to resolve questions. The host's decision is final.
• Once a bet is placed, it cannot be reversed or refunded unless the question is cancelled by the host.
• Token allocations are managed within each room and are not transferable between rooms.
• We reserve the right to void bets or reset token balances if system manipulation is detected.

7. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you create (questions, room names, etc.). By posting content on the Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content to other room members as part of the service. You are solely responsible for the content you create and must ensure it does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

We reserve the right to review, moderate, and remove any user-generated content at our sole discretion. Content that is reported as objectionable will be reviewed and removed within 24 hours if it violates these terms.

By using the Platform, you agree that we may remove content and terminate accounts of users who violate these terms without prior notice.

8. Intellectual Property

The PolyFriends name, logo, design, and all associated content are the property of PolyFriends. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our Platform without prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for any losses related to your use of the Platform, including but not limited to virtual token losses.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PolyFriends and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Since no real money is involved, our total liability for any claim shall not exceed $0.

11. Not a Gambling Service

PolyFriends is not a gambling platform and does not facilitate real-money wagering. The Platform uses virtual tokens for entertainment purposes only. If you are located in a jurisdiction where even virtual prediction markets are restricted, you should not use this Platform. We make no representations about the legality of using this Platform in your jurisdiction.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution).

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
